Wellness on Whyte has custom built infrared sauna made of the highest quality cedarwood, which is known for its anti-microbial, anti-fungal, and anti-inflammatory properties. The infrared waves penetrate through the skin, to the tissues, to a depth of about an inch and a half, at about 140° F or 60° C.
The sauna uses carbon-fiber heaters that emit far infrared in the 7–14 μm range—ideal for your body’s absorption. Plus, their EMF rating is under 3 mG, meaning ultra-low exposure for safer, more comfortable use. The heat created increases the body’s temperature internally, causes it to sweat and remove toxins thus, promoting healing.
Our infrared red sauna also comes with light color therapy which exposes your cells to specific colors, helping them regain optimal function.
